The other day I was talking to S about the insane number of hours my older sister and I were able to drag out a game of Barbies when we were growing up. It just never got old. When my doll grew bored of her life as an actress and my sister’s grew tired of hers as a banker, we just switched out careers and bought ourselves another 3 hours of playtime. And of course, the highlight of any round of Barbies no matter how intense (I usually tried to sneak a fight scene in at least once or twice) was changing outfits.
When I spent the afternoon co-styling and photographing Krystal in her super cute ensembles, I was taken back to that sweet, simple time in my life. For those few hours, I had a life-size Barbie to direct as I pleased and to say I had a good time doing it would be a huge understatement. Krystal, thanks so much for suggesting we do this-it was incredibly inspiring! Can’t wait to see these on weardrobe :).
