Back in January, I was commissioned by a children’s clothing company based in New York to photograph one of their contest winners who happened to live here in Houston. They loved the photos so much that they asked if I’d be willing to do the same with my own children. I said yes thinking surely this shoot would be a breeze since I photograph them so often. But something about us all knowing that I needed to take these photos for someone else made it feel like “work”. I realized a few minutes in that although I have over 15,000 photos of them, I’ve never asked them to pose. It was weird and admittedly, not that much fun. They argued over who would go first, fought over who would sit in the stroller while the other was photographed, and of course one of them had to poop long before I had enough images. Not that much fun. But I’m super glad I did this because I don’t think I’ve ever seen all three of my kids in proper clothing with freshly groomed hair and clean faces. It was also fun to see my shyest boy enjoying his time in front of the camera. Sweet boys.
BIG thank you to Cookie’s Kids for this fun opportunity! They were a treat to work with and we are SO happy with our clothes :).
I wish to put my Babyboy model Clothes
