Today I saw a sharply-dressed, middle-aged man on a unicylce. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen anyone operate a unicycle outside of the circus, but it is quite the peculiar sight. It’s even more peculiar (and stressful to watch) when the operator is traversing what might be the busiest intersection in the city of Houston – Kirby and University. After wiping my eyes to make sure they weren’t playing tricks on me, I tried my best to simultaneously operate my own four-wheeled vehicle, roll down the window, adjust my camera settings, focus and successfully capture what I had witnessed. I failed and was the recipient of several violent horn honkings. I quickly parked my car and ran into the nearest boutique to track down The Unicycler but he was nowhere to be found. What I did find, however, was the stylish store owner shown below. Fair enough.
