Just before Christmas, I was asked to do a shoot for a couple who was celebrating their first year of marriage as well as the purchase of their first home in EaDo. Thomas coordinated the whole shoot as a surprise to his wife, and when he mentioned that he really wanted photos of them in front of the murals in the area, I panicked (I don’t typically do murals). And when he mentioned that they wanted some playful images – even one wearing a mask – I double panicked (I don’t typically do playful photography). Honestly, it took me a while to find my feet during this session, but we had such a great time that I left the shoot and changed my business cards to read “Houston’s Premier Super Silly Mural Photographer”.

About the last photo:
These two not only survived their first year of marriage, but they did it with her brother crashing on their couch for the entire year. We decided it’d be fun to do a family photo.
Beautiful pictures, know the couple is happy & am sure you’re glad you pushed yourself outside of a comfort zone.
Thank you 😊. And yes, we were all happy.
