This may have been my best birthday yet – the beach, beautiful weather, and the company of my precious children without having to tend to them for a full 24 hours.

Plus I kind of fell in love with this rental. The neighborhood was super sketchy (which explained the low rental fee), but SHIPLAP AND BARN DOORS.

It’s been a great year and really a great life and I’m still trying to figure out what I did right to deserve it all. Thank you, Husband, for making  life sweet for another 365 days.
